About Aircraft Maintenance Engineering
The AME plays a vital role in the aviation industry by ensuring that aircraft are maintained and serviced to the highest standards laid down for airworthiness and safety. In the course of their dues, AMEs are responsible for servicing and maintenance of the aircraft, including repair and replacement, overhaul and inspection of the aircraft and its components, and other related items of equipment.
SAME is offering training in the field of aircraft maintenance engineering in line with the DGCA’s regulations for CAR 147 Basic.

Total Seats : 120
Duration : 2 years
Eligibility : 10+2 PCM from a recognized board or university or its equivalent. Physical fitness & Eye fitness are to be certified by a doctor holding MBBS degree.
Practical Training
SAME has entered into a long-term agreement with InterGlobe Aviation Ltd. (IndiGo), New Delhi, and Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL), Kanpur for imparting Practical training to its students, as approved by DGCA guideline CAR 147 Basic issued on 27 Dec 2017.

Infrastructure at SAME
The infrastructure at SAME consists of over 25,000 sq. ft. of covered area on the 4th Floor of InterGlobe’s premises at Greater Noida, apart from the Aircraft Hangar which is located on the ground floor. The classrooms and interiors of SAME have been designed by eminent architects and reflect the general ambience of a sophisticated factory shop-floor in keeping with the nature of the engineering function.
